Valencia Vs NPFL All-Stars 2-1 Highlights

The Nigeria Professional Football League All-Stars team were Wednesday night beaten 2-1 by Valencia in their first game of the NPFL La Liga tour.

The La Liga outfit got in front through Alvaro Medran in the 10th minute while Joseph Osadiaye equalised for the NPFL All-Stars in the 32nd minute.

While the Nigerian lads were hoping to at least force a draw Rodrigo Moreno broke their hearts; scoring the winning goal six minutes from time.

As widely expected, Valencia dominated the opening exchanges and were rewarded for their efforts when Medran headed a cross past Ikechukwu Ezenwa for the opener.

The Nigerian selected side struggled to get going in the game as the hosts failed to relinquish their dominance even after the goal.

Coach Salisu Yusuf’s men however got back on level terms through Joseph Osadiaye in the 32nd minute.

They grew in confidence afterwards and kept the Spainiards at bay for a long spell.
Valencia however grabbed the winner in the 84th minute through Moreno.

The NPFL All- Stars will hope for better result as they face Malaga in their next game on Friday.
