Nigerian Footballer Dies While Training In Azerbaijan

A young Nigerian football, Michael Umanyika slumped and died in training with Azerbaijani first division club, Zagatala PFK.

Umanyika recently visited Nigeria on vacation, andfell during his first training session with the club atthe Zaqatala City Stadium on Monday, and all efforts made by the club’s medical team to revive him proved abortive; as he was confirmed dead.

Late Umanyika joined Zagatala in the summer of 2015, and made 20 games appearance for the clubin the 2015/16 league season in Azerbaijan.
