Hull City reject Osaze

Former Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie, will not be offered a Premier League lifeline by Hull City after ending his brief spell at the club.

Odemwingie featured in three of City’s pre-season friendlies during a fortnight of training but was absent from Saturday’s 2-1 win away to Nottingham Forest.

It was gathered that the 35-year-old forward was told he would not be offered a contract by the Tigers and will now pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Odemwingie began a trial period two weeks ago during the final days of Steve Bruce’s reign as manager.
