EPL: Hull City Nails Musa’s Leicester City 2-1

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa failed to lift Leicester City as the team lost 2-1 to managerless Hull City at the KCOM Stadium in Saturday’s Premier League early kickoff.

The reigning Premier League champions couldn’t curtail the threat been posed by the attacking duo of
Adama Diomande and Robert Snodgrass as they went behind through Diomande clinical finish in the 45th minute to send their home fans into wide celebration.

Musa was on from the entire 90 minute but couldn’t rescue his team inspite of creating slim chances that couldn’t beat Hull City goalkeeper, Eldin Jakupovic.

However, Leicester City responded in the 47th minute thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s penalty after Demarai Gray was brought down by Tom Huddlestone and was immediately awarded by referee Mike Dean.

The goal eventually sparked some life from both teams as they went in search of the winning goal which later came in the 52nd minute thanks to  Robert Snodgrass’ goal to give the Premier League new comers their maximum points of the season.
