El-Kanemi Shock Warri Wolves

El-Kanemi Warriors FC defeated Warri Wolves 2-0 in their Week 19 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash at the Maiduguri Township Stadium on Saturday, in Borno State.
Hussaini Bata fired the opener from Ohanachom’s assist to put the hosts ahead in the 31st minute. Samuel Matthias doubled the lead from a powerful free-kick in the 75th minute as the match ended 2-0 at full time.
El-Kanemi gave good account of themselves in the game, but the visitors, Warri Wolves fell short in all ramifications; which made them looked ordinary on the road against more purposeful and resilience El-Kanemi side.
Also, El-Kanemi coach Isa Ladan-Bosso is living up to expectations in the league, stressing after the victory against Rangers that his team will be the toast of the NPFL in the second round of matches which begin this weekend.
Meanwhile, both Warri Wolves and El-Kanemi are tied on same with 25 points. After the victory, El-Kanemi secured 8th win of the season. The Borno club have not conceded in last 4 home games in the ongoing NPFL season.
