Enyimba ready for tough Ifeanyi Ubah challenge

Enyimba of Aba are all set for the tough challenge that awaits them this Saturday in Umuahia where they will be hosting Ifeanyi Ubah for the NPFL Match Day 17 fixture.
Paul Aigbogun, coach of the two-time African Champions, Enyimba, has said that the match against FC Ifeanyi Ubah would not be an easy one for either side. However he believes his team can win the game.

Speaking ahead of the match, Aigbogun said his side’s new found form would help them to get a resounding result, maintaining that Enyimba was still in the run to retain the trophy.

“The match, just like any other match in the league, won’t be easy, but we are going into the game with the mindset that we are going to win.

“We started the season poorly but you can see that we are gradually picking up soon Sunday, we will hope to continue what we have been doing in the last three matches now. Hopefully, we will come out with a result our fans will be proud of,” Aigbogun said, according to independentnig.com

Enyimba drew 1-1 with MFM on Wednesday after they defeated Niger Tornadoes on Sunday in the week 15 encounter. They are currently in 11th position on the NPFL log having gained 21 points from 13 games played.
