Nigerian striker, Aminu Umar bagged brace for his club Osmanlispor FK and added an assist, in their 3-2 away victory against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig clash decided on Saturday.
Turkish forward Mehmet Batdal opened scoring for Basaksehir seven minutes into the game, before Umar scored his brace in the 20th and 38th minutes respectively as the game ended 2-1 at half time.
Quite early in the second half, Emre Belozoglu missed a spot kick for the home team in the 46th minute, but 10 minutes after, Edin Visca provided the equalizer for Basaksehir in the 56th minute. Senegalese midfielder, Pape Alioune Ndiaye scored the match-winner for Osmanlispor courtesy of Umar’s assist in the 86th minute, as the game ended 3-2 at full time.
With Saturday’s 3-2 victory, the 21-year-old attacker has scored five goals in his 19 appearances for Osmanlispor in the ongoing Turkish Super Lig season. In same encounter, Nigerian midfielder, Raheem Lawal was on for 63rd minute, before making way for Pape Ndiaye.
