West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, has confirmed that the Hammers are working on a deal to sign former Nigeria national – teamer Emmanuel Emenike from Fenerbahce before the close of the transfer market.
The 28-year-old will not have work permit problems as he was an important member of the Super Eagles until October when he called time on his international career after a dispute with the powers that be.

“There is a new situation with a couple of our players might leave the club and if that happens then we are going to try to get one in – and Emenike is one of them. But is not a done deal,” said Slaven Bilic.
“Of course he is a good player. He is one of the players we have been linked with and we will see.”
Emenike spent the first half of this season at Al Ain, scoring 7 goals in 11 appearances for the United Arab Emirates team in the league.
