The home-based Super Eagles will play a friendly game against Cote d’lvoire on 9 January in Pretoria ahead of their participation at the African Nations Championship.
The match, is one of the tune-up games lined up by the Nigeria Football Federation to get the team in proper shape ahead of their second appearance at CHAN.
The home-based Eagles who are expected to set up a camping site in South Africa ahead of the competition will play in Group C alongside, Tunisia, Guinea and Niger.
Handler of the side, Sunday Oliseh, earlier this week released a 26-man list that will begin preparations for the competition in Abuja Monday next week.
Nigeria won bronze at the last edition of the competition in South Africa.
Rwanda will host the competition from Saturday, January 16 to Sunday, February 6.
