According to reports reaching us, Super Eagles number one goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has been booted out of camp in Belgium after attempting to explain the reason for his late arrival to the coach, Sunday Oliseh.
As the Lille man was about to state his reasons for arriving camp late, the coach asked him to shut up and leave, but he refused. That was when Oliseh reportedly called on security officials to send him out of camp.
With only one Goalkeeper in camp, Oliseh then resorted to call-up SC Feirense glovesman Dele Alampasu to join the team, considering that Dele has a Portuguese residence permit, therefore doesn’t need a visa to travel to Belgium.
Alampasu who hasn’t featured in a competitive game for close to two years is expected to arrive at the Hotel Verviers, camp of the Super Eagles on Wednesday.
However, according to the Super Eagles official twitter handle, Enyeama is still in camp despite the incident.
“It’s true that there was a little misunderstanding in the camp of @NGSuperEagles, but the matter has been resolved. Enyeama remains in camp,” the official Super Eagles twitter handle said.
