Onazi features as Juve defeat Lazio



Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, featured for SS Lazio in their 2-0 loss to Serie A champions Juventus in the Italia Super Cup on Saturday.
Onazi, who was on for 90 minutes, couldn’t prevent his side from defeat as goals from Juventus’ new signings Mario Mandzukic (69th minute) and Paulo Dybala (74th minute) settled the tie which was played in Shanghai, China.[post_ad]
Both teams faced each other in the final of the Coppa Italia with Juventus triumphing 2-1 after extra-time.
Onazi had 16 appearances for Lazio last season, scoring just one goal.
Juventus will kick off the defence of their title when they welcome Udinese to the Juventus stadium, while Lazio will entertain Bologna to the Stadio Olimpico.
