Both players have been promoted to the first team as confirmed by Luis Enrique but there is no space to contain the duo in a Striker-laden Barca squad
Barcelona B players Sandro Ramirez and Munir El Haddadi have been promoted to the first team after coach Luis Enrique confirmed it. However, reports from Barcelona claim the Barca coach has hinted on sending one of them on loan.
Barcelona-based newspaper, Sport claimed Luis Enrique spoke to both players and said he will make use of only one of them whilst sending the other on loan.
With Messi, Neymar and Suarez in the Barca team, it’s unlikely that either Sandro or Munir will have regular first team football and with Pedro Rodriguez still at the club, Luis Enrique feels having six strikers in the team is nonsense.
As things stand, Pedro is the 4th striker, meaning Munir and Sandro will battle for 5th spot.
Moreover, with speculation suggesting Pedro will leave the club this summer, it might just mean both Sandro and Munir will stay at the club (although reports claim Luis Enrique plans to use Aleix Vidal as a winger if Pedro leaves).
Both Sandro and Munir played some parts in Barcelona’s treble win last season with the former scoring in all three competitions for the Catalans. A final decision on their future is due to be announced by August.
