Keshi said after their performance at the last edition of CHAN in South Africa, the Eagles will certainly not fail to win the next edition next year if the home boys continue to play the way they did against Yemen and Cote d’ Ivoire in recent friendly games.
Speaking to complete sports,he said that after winning the bronze last time in South Africa, the boys have garnered enough experience to go and win the next edition of CHAN to prove that Nigeria is blessed with talents.
“Oh, I am impressed with the results of the two friendly matches they played in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. That they lost 1-0 to Afcon team CIV and beat Yemen 2-0 is a clear indication that they are progressing and will soon get there.
“These boys are growing fast and if they continue like this, am sure they will be ripe to take the next CHAN by storm and win it. They have to work harder to get there. I am happy for them but that is not saying they have arrived, there are more work to be done” Keshi stated.
