Dennis joined The Reds for £20m and is expected to light up The City Ground immediately, owing to his impressive debut season last campaign.
Awoniyi on his part will need some acclimatisation to do, but he has proven he can be devastating when the chances are provided and both players may be playing next to each other soon.
Nottingham Forest’s massive window is the talk of the summer and it has seen them sign fourteen players including the two Super Eagles stars.
Other than Awoniyi and Dennis, they also got Dean Henderson, Giulian Biancone, Moussa Niakhate, Omar Richards, Neco Williams, Wayne Hennessey, Brandon Aguilera, Harry Toffolo and Lewis O’Brien.
Others are Jesse Lingard, Oriel Mangala and Cheikhou Kouyate.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Henderson gets the nod in goal, with the youthful pair of Neco Williams and Omar Richards taking the full back slots. Williams was a signing from Liverpool while Richards was gotten from Bayern Munich.
Niakhate and Kouyate are expected to fill the centre back positions while Mangala and O’Brien sit in a flat midfield base.
Lingard and Toffolo are on the flanks and a double-prong attack of Dennis and Awoniyi are expected upfront.
This, however may not be the case from a general team perspective with some old squad members like Brennan Johnson and Sam Surridge still actively in the team.
