Super Eagles B team will face Ghana’s home-based national team for a berth at the African Nations Championship in Algeria
Super Eagles assistant coach and home-based Super Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf has invited 35 players to camp ahead of Nigeria’s clash against Ghana.
Yusuf invited some of the players who featured for the Super Eagles at the US camping in June.
Sani Faisal, Adeyinka Adewale, Chiamaka Madu, and Babatunde Bello were all handed invitations. Top scorer in the NPFL, Chijioke Akuneto has also been invited.
Nathaniel Nwosu, the Flying Eagles goalkeeper was also invited to the team.
When will Super Eagles B team face Ghana?
Nigeria will face Ghana in Accra on Sunday, August 28th before hosting their eternal rivals at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on the 3rd of September.
Nigeria finished as runners up and third-place winners in 2014 and 2018 editions respectively but meet a Ghanaian team which hasn’t qualified for CHAN since 2014.
