Some Nigerian players have started pre-season, and one of them is already showing fans of his new club what to expect
Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis has scored his first goal, although unofficial, for Watford. Dennis joined the Hornets from Club Brugge this summer, and he wasted no time in showing what fans could expect from him next season.
The 23-year-old scored along with Christian Kabasele and Domingos Quina as Watford beat their U-23 side in a pre-season friendly encounter on Saturday.

The goal is the confidence boost Dennis needed after a disappointing campaign with Club Brugge and FC Cologne last season.
After a breakthrough campaign in the 2019/2020 campaign, Dennis was expected to carry the form into the new season.
However, last season turned out to be a nightmare campaign for him. The Nigerian made just 14 appearances for Brugge before he went out on loan to Cologne.
His time in Germany wasn’t impressive either, with ten appearances and just a solitary goal to his name.
