The Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles are scheduled
to depart the shores of the country Tuesday night for France ahead of
their double-header against Mali and Luxembourg.
The Nigeria delegation which is to include holidaying players back
from Europe and other officials are quite hopeful that the
other officials yet to be granted entry visas will do so before the and
of the working day.
It is understood that four officials including caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf have been granted their visas.
Musa Mohammed, Brown Ideye, Elderson Echiejile and Ogneyi Onazi who
are all on holiday in Nigeria after a busy season in Europe are expected
to be part of the delegation that would depart from Nigeria.
Nigeria face Mali on Friday in Rouen with kick-off time at 7pm.
The other match will be in Luxembourg on May 31.
Both games as explained by NFF officials are targeted at put the
Super Eagles in tip-top shape for the qualifying tournament for the 2018
World Cup, which will begin in October.
