Nigeria defender Ola Aina was in action for Nottingham Forest as Tottenham Hotspur secured a fine 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday evening, Soccernet.ng reports.
However, the spotlight has shifted from the game’s outcome to a peculiar incident involving Ola Aina and Tottenham star Son Heung-min.
Following the match, Aina took to social media, revealing a dental mishap resulting from a collision with Tottenham forward Son Heung-min.
Apparently, Aina suffered a dental injury, which required medical assistance to refit the bent tooth.
Calling out Son with a touch of humour, the Super Eagles full-back demanded reparation for the dental treatment required, asking Son,
“Where do I send the invoice to when I get this fixed?”
With Son not responding to Aina’s dragging on Snapchat, the Forest defender added another post asking anyone close to the Spurs star to nudge the forward towards him.
Aina continued his jest, amusingly telling Son not to overestimate his financial stature.
“Someone shout, Mr Son; he must think I’m on the same bread as him.”
Sharing snapshots of his dental treatment, Aina maintained a lighthearted tone, even humorously declaring Son “wanted” with a pic of the South Korean international.
“This man is wanted!! Last seen in the N17 region @ 20:00 last night. Tell him I just wanna chat kmt [kiss my teeth].”
In a massive comedic twist, Aina returned to suggest Son may not be the Tottenham player who inflicted on him the dental injury after all.
While the specific incident leading to Aina’s dental injury remains undisclosed, the match itself unfolded at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs taking the lead through a Murillo own goal.
Nottingham Forest managed to equalise with Chris Wood’s contribution before half-time.
However, Ange Postecoglou’s squad seized control after the break, securing victory with goals from Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro in the 52nd and 58th minute, respectively.
With the loss, Nottingham Forest find themselves teetering just above the Premier League relegation zone, level on points with their competitors.
This guy oughta grow up. He is probably contemplating suing opposing players for soiling his hair-do or dirtying his shirt !
