President George Weah reveals why Napoli’s Osimhen is a good striker

Victor Osimhen dazzled the football fans again as the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Sierra Leone to secure their 2023 AFCON ticket

Liberian President, and AC Milan legend, George Weah, has revealed why Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, is a good striker, Soccernet.ng reports.

During the match held at the SKD Stadium, Weah, a former recipient of the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, couldn’t help but acknowledge Osimhen’s qualities as a top-class striker as he showcased his exceptional skills and contributed significantly to Nigeria’s triumph, netting two goals that secured the team’s win. .

In his appraisal of Osimhen’s performance, Weah highlighted the striker’s exceptional positioning and remarkable agility, emphasizing that these attributes are essential for any successful forward.

Having closely observed the 24-year-old’s display on the pitch, Weah praised Osimhen’s ability to anticipate the game, always being at the right place at the right time.

“That is what I call a striker. Good positioning always. Very athletic and knows where to be each time the ball is coming. He is so strong and a fighter par excellence.” the former Manchester City forward said.

Osimhen’s impressive goal-scoring record for the Nigerian national team further strengthens Weah’s commendation.

With an impressive tally of 17 goals in 25 matches at the senior level, Osimhen continues to prove his worth and importance to the Super Eagles.
