Ladan Bosso picks his final roster for the 2023 U-20 World Cup

The seven-time winners of the Africa Cup of Nations are aiming to win their first World Cup in the Argentina-hosted U-20 World Cup in 2023

The head coach of the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso,  has today released the list of players that will be representing the country at the upcoming U-20 World Cup championship, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 55-year-old has provided a twenty-one-man squad list that will don the green and white colours in Argentina, when the competition starts on the 20th of May 2023.

Nigeria are in Group B and will have to fight against Italy, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic to get any hopes of reaching the latter end of the tournament.

The flying eagles kick off their campaign against The Dominican Republic on Sunday, May 21st. They will also face Italy after the space of three days.

Here is the full squad list

Goalkeepers: Chijeke Aniagboso, Nathaniel Nwosu, Saheed Jimoh.

Defenders: Daniel Bameyi, Benjamin Frederick, Israel Domingo, Abel Ogwuche, Augustine Njoku, Solomon Abalaka.

Midfielders: Daniel Daga, Samson Lawal, Victor Eletu, Ibrahim Abdullahi, John Joshua, Tochuckwu Nnadi.

Forwards: Haliru Sarki, Jude Sunday, Ibrahim Mohammed, Lawal Salem Fago, Kehinde Ibrahim, Emmanuel Umeh.
