Good News For Alex Iwobi

After over a month on the sidelines, Alex Iwobi has been passed fit for Everton’s clash against Watford in what will surely delight the Super Eagles star and Carlo Ancelotti.

The Nigeria international has been out of action since he limped off in the Toffees 0-0 draw against Arsenal last month. The 23-year-old picked up a hamstring injury after just eleven minutes of the encounter and has not been seen on the pitch since then.

He delivered an update on his Instagram page two weeks ago that he will soon be back, but the Super Eagles star missed Everton’s game against Newcastle.

However, he has been passed fit and will be available for Everton’s trip to Watford on Saturday. Speaking ahead of the clash against the Hornets, Ancelotti confirmed the availability of Iwobi along with Richarlison and Sigurdsson.

“Richarlison is okay and has trained all week,” Ancelotti told evertontv with quotes gotten from Everton’s website.

“This week we had only Gbamin out, the others are all fit and in good condition. “Richarlison and Iwobi are available [to face Watford].

“Gylfi Sigurdsson is available. “So it will be difficult to choose my line-up.

Iwobi has made 20 appearances for the Toffees this campaign, scoring two goals. Everton currently sit in 12th place on the Premier League table with 30 points from 24 games.
