Xavi backs Barcelona move for Goretzka

Barcelona legend Xavi is a fan of Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka.

Off contract in June, Goretzka is interesting Barca, along with Liverpool and Arsenal.

“I’ve seen him play and I think he’s a good player. Without doubt, he could play for any team the world. He would fit in well [at Barça],” Xavi told SID.

The current Al-Sadd midfielder explained that “Goretzka is a young player. Germany always have good footballers and he’s one of them.”

Ariedo Bradia, Barca’s international scouting director, made a check on him live earlier this season.
