Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi could be moving to Turkish club Besiktas in the January transfer window, Complete sport reports.
Club president Fikret Oman says his club are thinking of a move for Mikel Obi who could be looking for a move to rejuvenate his ailing career.
The president alleged that the club coach Senol Gunes pulled the plug on his transfer in the summer but a new move would be in January.
Talksport.com quotes him saying:“If [manager] Senol Gunes had given the go ahead we were going to sign [Mikel] and we could enter the race again over the winter break.”
Mikel helped the Super Eagles to a 3 – 0 victory over Cameroon on Sunday. The 28-year-old arrived Chelsea in 2006 making 342 in his nine years at the club.
